57. Emmy Awards: Die Gewinner

Es war die Nacht der Entscheidung: Zum einem wurde in Deutschland ein neues Parlament gewählt, zum anderen verlieh die Academy of Television Arts & Sciences wieder die legendären Primetime-Emmys. In einer dreiendhalbstündigen Show aus dem Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles wurden die Gewinner gekürt.

An der Spitze steht der Fernsehfilm «The Life and Death of Peter Sellers», der in der Nacht drei Preise einheimste und insgesamt bei den diesjährigen Emmys neun Auszeichnungen gewann. «Desperate Housewives» und «Lost» gingen mit vier Preisen in die Primetime-Verleihung, bekamen dort nochmals jeweils zwei Stück und können sich mit jeweils sechs Preisen zufrieden geben. Überraschend: «Everybody Loves Raymond» schlug «Desperate Housewives» in der Kategorie „Beste Comedyserie“. Der Fernsehfilm «Warm Springs» kommt mit der Westernserie «Deadwood» auf drei Emmys.
